Connecting NexerIQ to ZoHo Desk: sync customers, contacts, and agent time
If your team uses ZoHo Desk for support, you can connect it to NexerIQ so the two work as one. Your customers and their contacts stay in step automatically, you can see a customer's ZoHo Desk tickets right inside NexerIQ, and the time your agents log on tickets can flow straight into employee work journals — ready to approve and bill. This guide is the starting point; it explains what the integration does and the order to set it up in.
What you can do
- Keep customers in sync — NexerIQ customers and their contacts are mirrored to ZoHo Desk accounts and contacts, so you never retype the same details in two places.
- See support tickets in context — once ZoHo Desk is your active help desk, a customer's tickets appear on their record in NexerIQ.
- Turn agent time into work-journal lines — time your agents log against ZoHo Desk tickets becomes time on the matching employee's work journal.
Before you start
- A ZoHo Desk account you can sign in to and administer.
- Administrator access to NexerIQ settings.
- The ZoHo Desk integration enabled in NexerIQ — open Settings → Marketplace Extensions, find the ZoHo Desk card and turn it on.
- For agent time: the Work Journal feature switched on (so there are work journals to add time to).
Where to find the settings
Open Settings → ZoHo Desk. The page has three tabs:
- Connection — link NexerIQ to your ZoHo account and choose your organization.
- Synchronization — choose what is kept in sync (accounts, contacts, and agent time).
- Provisioning — set up the link fields and the live-update webhook.
The setup path
- Connect and authorize — sign in to ZoHo and grant NexerIQ permission. See ZoHo Desk: connecting and authorizing the integration.
- Sync customers and contacts — provision the link fields, register the webhook, and choose what to sync. See ZoHo Desk: syncing customers and contacts.
- Bring in agent time (optional) — turn on time-entry sync and match agents to employees. See ZoHo Desk: bringing agent time entries into employee work journals.
Tip: set things up in that order — connection first. The Synchronization and Provisioning tabs only become available once NexerIQ is connected to ZoHo.
