Why can't I see a page or feature?

Can't see a page, button, or feature?

If something you expected isn't there, it's almost always for a good reason rather than a fault. Here are the usual explanations — and what to do about each.

1. Your role doesn't include it

What you can see depends on your roles. Settings, finance, and admin areas are deliberately limited to the people who need them. If a whole section is missing, ask your administrator to check your roles under Users & access.

2. You're in the wrong company

If your organisation has more than one company, you might be looking at a different one. Check the company name at the top of the screen and switch if needed — each company has its own data.

3. The feature isn't switched on

Some features are optional modules that an administrator turns on per company. If a whole area (say, Payroll or Help Desk) is absent, it may simply not be enabled — see Adding features from the Marketplace.

4. It depends on something else first

A few actions only appear once a prerequisite exists — you can't invoice an order before it's confirmed, for instance. If a button is greyed out or hidden, check whether an earlier step is still needed.

5. A display hiccup

Occasionally it's just the screen. Refresh the page, and if something still looks off, try a private/incognito window or clear your cache.

Tell your administrator (or our support team) exactly what you're looking for and where you expected it. Nine times out of ten it's a quick permission or module change.
