Setting up the People: Ratings extension

Setting up the People: Ratings extension

This guide shows you how to switch on the People: Ratings extension so your interview team can score candidates against open postings. For what the extension does and why you'd use it, see People: Ratings extension: candidate scorecards for interview teams.

Install and enable

  1. Go to Settings → Marketplace Extensions.
  2. Find the People: Ratings card (search for "ratings" if it's quicker), and click it to review the details and required permissions.
  3. Click Install to add it to your system.
  4. Click Enable to switch it on. There are no settings to fill in, so it activates immediately.

Settings

There's nothing to configure — once enabled, scorecard and fit rating controls appear on each candidate profile, ready to use. You'll find the People area under Settings → People (platform/settings/people) if you want to confirm the extension is active.

Using it day to day

Open a candidate in the People area, against the posting you're hiring for. From there each interviewer can:

  • Add their own scorecard for the candidate–posting pairing, rating the defined criteria.
  • Record an overall fit assessment for the role.
  • See the team's ratings aggregated, giving the hiring manager a clear summary before deciding.

Tip: ask each interviewer to add their rating right after their session, before discussing it with the panel — independent scores give you the most honest read on a candidate.
