Rapyd Payments extension: let customers pay invoices by scanning a QR code

The Rapyd Payments extension lets your customers pay an invoice simply by scanning a QR code. The code links to a secure Rapyd hosted checkout page where they pay with their preferred method — and once it's paid, NexerIQ applies the settlement to the invoice for you. No payment links to copy and paste, no card details to handle yourself.

What it adds

  • QR code checkout — a QR code is generated for the invoice and links straight to a Rapyd checkout page, so there's no manual link-building.
  • Rapyd hosted page — the actual payment happens on Rapyd's PCI-compliant checkout, so sensitive card data never touches your systems.
  • Automatic settlement — once the customer pays, the payment is applied to the invoice automatically.
  • Sandbox mode — test the whole flow against Rapyd's sandbox before you go live.

Who it's for

Any business that wants to offer customers a fast, contactless way to pay an invoice — at the counter, in person, or anywhere a customer can scan a code with their phone. It's a good fit if you'd like card and alternative payments without building your own checkout.

Good to know

To use this extension you'll need a Rapyd account and your Rapyd API credentials, plus a settlement (asset) account in your chart of accounts for Rapyd payments to land in. Rapyd then appears as a payment option for invoices. Your API keys are stored securely and shown masked — you never have to expose them again once entered.
