Asset Maintenance extension: schedule and track asset servicing
The Asset Maintenance extension helps you stay ahead of servicing instead of scrambling after something breaks. By recording service dates, who looks after each asset, and how often it needs attention, you can plan maintenance in good time and avoid unexpected downtime.
What it adds
- Last Service Date — when the asset was last serviced.
- Next Service Date — the upcoming scheduled service, so nothing slips through the cracks.
- Service Provider — the contractor or team responsible for the work.
- Service Interval (months) — how often servicing is required.
- Maintenance Notes — freeform notes from the last visit.
Who it's for
Maintenance teams, facilities managers, and operations staff who look after equipment that needs regular servicing — vehicles, machinery, HVAC units, safety gear, and more. Knowing the next service date for every asset at a glance makes planning straightforward and helps you keep things running.
Good to know
The extension records and surfaces the dates you enter — it's your reliable single place to see what's been serviced and what's due next. The fields appear on your existing assets; nothing else about them changes.
Ready to turn it on? See Setting up the Asset Maintenance extension. New to extensions in general? Start with Using the Marketplace.
