When the same work happens again and again, you don't need to enter it by hand each time. NexerIQ lets you repeat an assignment across a date range and save a setup as a reusable template. This saves time and keeps recurring shifts consistent. This article covers both, working from the Assign work drawer in the schedule.
Repeat an assignment
- Start a new assignment from Work → My schedule or Team schedule.
- Fill in the employee, date, hours, and the rest as usual.
- Tick Repeat, then choose a Repeat type: Daily, Weekdays (Mon–Fri), or Weekly (same day).
- Set Repeat until to the last date the series should cover, then click Save.
NexerIQ creates the whole series at once. Each occurrence appears on the calendar and belongs to the same recurring group.
Cancel or delete a series
When you open a recurring assignment, NexerIQ asks which occurrences to act on. Choose This only to change a single date, or This and future to apply the change from that date onward. The same choice appears when deleting from the calendar.
Save a setup as a template
To reuse a full setup later, use the Save button's menu in the drawer and choose Save and save as template. Give the template a Template name — if you reuse an existing name, NexerIQ asks before replacing it. Any products attached to the assignment are saved with the template too.
Apply or remove a template
Open the Schedule templates menu (the bookmark icon) at the top of the drawer and pick a template to fill in the assignment instantly; adjust anything before saving. To remove one you no longer need, choose Delete selected template from the same menu, or delete it from the save dialog.
