The Work Project Auto Create extension saves you a repetitive setup step: the moment you create a new customer, it automatically spins up a Time & Materials work project linked to them. No remembering to do it by hand — every customer gets a project ready and waiting.

What it adds

  • Automatic creation — whenever a new customer is created, a Time & Materials work project is created for them automatically, with no staff action needed.
  • Active or Draft — choose whether each new project starts Active and ready to use, or in Draft status so someone can review it first.
  • Easy to pause — turn auto-creation on or off from the settings whenever you like, without removing the extension.

Service and project-based businesses where most new customers mean new billable work. If you find yourself creating a work project by hand every time you add a customer, this extension does it for you and keeps things consistent.

Good to know

It only acts when a customer is created — it won't retroactively create projects for customers you already have. You stay in control of whether new projects appear instantly or wait in Draft for review.
