Guest Acknowledge extension: tell visitors their host is on the way
The Guest Acknowledge extension gives your visitors a little peace of mind. When a host taps Acknowledge to confirm they've seen that their guest has arrived, this extension automatically messages the visitor — by SMS, email, or both — to let them know someone is on the way. No more guests wondering whether anyone noticed them at the desk.
What it adds
- Automatic guest notification — the moment a host acknowledges an arrival in Reception, the visitor is messaged with a friendly "someone is coming" note.
- SMS and email channels — turn each channel on or off independently, so you can use whichever suits your reception.
- Custom message templates — write your own wording and personalise it with placeholders for the visitor's name, the host, and the visit purpose.
- Sends only when it can — a message goes out only if the guest actually provided that contact detail at check-in, so nothing fails silently.

Reception teams and front desks that want a warmer, more reassuring check-in experience. It's especially handy in busy lobbies or where the host needs a few minutes to come down — the guest gets a clear signal that they've been seen and help is on its way.
