The Reception Kiosk Notification extension makes sure the right person knows their visitor has arrived. When a guest checks in at your reception kiosk, the host employee — or the host team — is notified by email and/or SMS with a personalised message, so no one is left waiting in the lobby while their host is unaware.

What it adds

  • Host alerts on check-in — when a guest signs in at the kiosk, their assigned host or host team is messaged straight away.
  • Email and SMS channels — enable each channel independently to match how your team prefers to be reached.
  • Custom message templates — write your own alert and personalise it with placeholders for the visitor's name, the host, and the visit purpose.
  • Opt-out control — each visit carries email and SMS opt-out switches, so a host who doesn't want to be messaged for a particular visit is respected automatically.
