Product Sale Notes extension: surface important product notes when added to an invoice

The Product Sale Notes extension makes sure important product information doesn't get missed at the point of sale. When you mark a product note as one to watch, that note pops up the moment the product is added to an invoice — so staff see the warning, expiry detail, or compliance reminder before they save the line.

What it adds

  • A "Notify On Sale" flag on product notes — mark any product note as one that should be surfaced during a sale.
  • An automatic prompt on the invoice — when a product with a flagged note is added to an invoice line, a drawer opens showing those notes for review.

Who it's for

Any team selling products that carry handling warnings, expiry dates, or compliance notes — anywhere a quick "read this before you sell it" would prevent a mistake. It's especially handy for new or occasional sales staff.

Good to know

This is a UI feature: the prompt appears when someone adds the product to an invoice on screen. It does not fire for invoice lines created automatically through the API. The notes themselves live on the product as usual — this extension simply makes the flagged ones impossible to overlook at sale time.
